On Saturday The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea issued a press release detailing the countries plan to dismantle their Nuclear Test site.

According to the press release issued to KCNA, state run media, in order to ensure transparency of the dismantling of the test site, North Korea will allow international journalists to witness the event scheduled between, May 23rd and May 25th, depending on weather conditions.

The statement goes on to explain that due to limited space that international journalists are only being allowed to attend from the following countries, Russia, China, United States, United Kingdom, and South Korea.

A summit between the United States and North Korea has been set for June 12th, in Singapore.

It’s unclear if the military budget of Iran is up 40% or 30%. According to multiple sources, the military budget increase since the Iran Deal was reached in 2015, trends upward along with government spending as a whole.

On Thursday Senator David Perdue (R-Georgia) along with fifteen other senators sent a letter to House Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) asking he consider suspending the August recess in hopes of avoiding another last minute spending battle in September. The fiscal budget deadline is September 30th, 2018.

In March of 2017 ZTE, pled guilty to charges it had violated US sanctions against both Iran and North Korea, by exporting those countries telecommunications equipment, the company, the second-largest Chinese telecom marker, also agreed to pay up to 1.19 billion dollars.

In April of this year Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, issued a denial of export privileges against ZTE, when the department uncovered that in 2016, during the settlement negotiations, and again in 2017 during the probationary period, ZTE provided false statements to the US.

Last week ZTE announced it had halted its main operations.
