The first sentence in the tweet is the headline ‘Mainstream media tries to ‘rewrite history,’ to credit Obama for Trump accomplishments.’
The next sentence comes from the article, “Since President Trump took office, the economy is booming,” the article adds, “according to such reliable sources as federal agencies, analysts and data from the private sector.”
The very next sentence in the tweet, “The stronger the economy gets, the more desperate his critics are,” appears in the article, “The stronger the economy gets under Trump, the more desperate his critics are to hand credit over to Obama.”
The last sentence in the tweet, “We seem to recall that the economy was stagnating in 2016 after the weakest recovery from a recession since the Great Depression,” the IBD editorial noted.”

Based on the numbers it appears that President Trump was referencing the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll
Based on the posted graph President Trump misstated the overall approval numbers instead he cited Disapproval numbers. His overall approval number according to this poll is 44 percent his disapproval is at 52 percent after his one-time personal attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty and after former campaign chairman for the Trump Campaign, Paul Manafort was convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud. President Trump does enjoy a 90 percent approval rating among Republicans.
According to the linked article the, “initial poll of 900 registered voters was conducted Aug. 18-22,” the second poll following-up after the conviction and plea deals was based on, “600 voters,” and “was conducted Aug. 22-25.”
The margin of error for the first poll was “plus of minus 3.27 percentage points,” the follow-up polls margin of error, “4 percentage points.”

Jim Brown the NFL Hall of Fame running back gave a radio interview on August 20th, with Tomm Looney host of ‘The JT Brick Show,’ that airs weeknights on Fox Sports Radio, to discuss his thoughts on the Cleveland Browns future, National Anthem protests, and his dislike for the NFL’s new helmet rule.
On the National Anthem Protesters (4:13) — He said, “show unity, everybody take a knee, if your gonna take a knee.”
On President Trump (5:36 p.m.) “I find myself really pulling for the President. Now that will make me really unpopular with the black community and unpopular with many American’s,” but he said he feels there are a lot of good things coming out of this presidency.

Tiger Woods finished tied for 40th, according to the Washington Post, @ Northern Trust Open, in New Jersey. During an question session on Sunday, one reporter asked via ASAP Sports about Woods’ relationship with President Trump.
Q. Your relationship with Donald Trump, how would you describe that professionally and personally?
TIGER WOODS: Well, I’ve known Donald for a number of years. We’ve played golf together. We’ve had dinner together. I’ve known him pre-presidency and obviously during his presidency.
Q. At times, especially 2018, I think a lot of people, especially people of color, immigrants, are threatened by him and his policy — what do you say to people who might find it interesting that you have a friendly relationship with him?
TIGER WOODS: Well, he’s the President of the United States. You have to respect the office. No matter who is in the office, you may like, dislike personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office.
Q. Do you have anything more broadly to say about the state and the discourse of race relations?
TIGER WOODS: No. I just finished 72 holes and really hungry.

In the fifty-seven second clip, President Trump thanks the President of Mexico, says, “you’ve been my friend,” he continues that they had a great meeting when President Trump traveled to Mexico. He says, “I have a lot of good meetings.” The clips ends with him saying that the deal he hopes will be “talked about for many years to come.”
