Troy Downing a Republican candidate for Senate for the state of Montana, hoping to unseat the incumbent Jon Lester (D-Montana) announced via twitter yesterday that Michael Flynn will be stumping for him ‘very soon,’

This will be the second Republican hopeful that Flynn has stumped for this year. In March he appeared on behalf of Omar Navarro in CA. Navarro hopes to unseat the 43rd CA districts incumbent Maxine Waters (D-CA)
Troy Downing is among three other republicans running to unseat Lester, the Montana Primary is June 5th 2018.
According to a report posted by 3KRTV, Downing is scheduled to make a court appearance two weeks before the primary, the three day trial is scheduled from May 23-25.

The state Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks has cited Downing seven times for buying or applying to buy a resident hunting-and-fishing license when he wasn’t a Montana resident, from 2011-2016.
He’s also been cited for illegally transferring a license to someone else who’d killed a bull elk in 2011 and helping his son, Dylan, a non-resident, obtain a resident license in 2015.
