What’s Cooking at the Deep State, Super-Secret Bakery?

Come on in and find out.

Every week for fun, we’ll bake a new Deep State cookie, sure to tempt even the most stubborn of folks into joining our nefarious secret society. (You know that old saying, “Come to the dark side — we have cookies!”)

Today’s selection is a flourless cookie which gets its body from peanut butter, meaning this is a gluten free recipe! How cool is that?

On today’s menu:

15-Minute Flourless Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
adapted from a recipe posted at leannebakes.com

This makes 15-18 cookies, depending on how big you form them.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Mix all ingredients together until blended. Roll up 1-2 tablespoons of dough into a ball (about golf ball size), place on baking sheet, and press down gently with fork.

Bake for 10-13 minutes. Once out of the oven, don’t even try to move them from the cookie sheet until 10 minutes have passed. (The cookies will be too soft and will fall apart before then.)

Enjoy!
