Roger Stone and the Russian Indictment

Friday Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced indictments against twelve Russian nationals as part of the special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian Probe in regards to Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

While “this indictment” didn’t name any American’s it did state that the Conspirators posing as Guccifer 2.0 communicated with U.S. persons.

On or about August 15, 2016 “Guccifer 2.0, “wrote to a person who was in regular contact with senior members of the presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump.”

“Guccifer 2.0” to contact senior member(s): “thank u for writing back . . . do u find anything interesting in the docs i posted?”

On or about August 17th

“Guccifer 2.0” to contact senior member(s) adding, “please tell me if i can help u anyhow . . . it would be a great pleasure to me.”

On or about September 9th, 2016 regarding the stolen DCCC document posted on-line the Conspirators reached out again to the senior member(s) of the Trump campaign.

“Guccifer 2.0” to contact senior member(s): “what do u think of the info on the turnout model for the democrats entire presidential campaign.”

Senior Contact member(s) to “Guccifer 2.0:” “pretty standard.”


On March 10th, 2017 Roger Stone posted an article @ Stone Cold Truth that contained screenshots of messages Stone says were exchanged between he and person calling themselves “Guccifer 2.0”

August 17th, 2016 Guccifer 2.0 writes according to the screenshots posted, “Do u find anything interesting in the docs i posted.” and adding”please tell me if I can help u anyhow, it would be a great pleasure.”

On September 9th Stone replies to Guccifer 2.0 “pretty standard,” after Guccifer asked, “what do u think of the info on the turnout model for the democrats entire campaign.”

In March of 2016 Stone told The Washington Times via email, “I myself had no contacts or communications with the Russian State, Russian Intelligence or anyone fronting for them or acting as intermediaries for them.”


On Friday morning after the announcement of the indictments were made Roger Stone told CNN, via phone, “I don’t think it is me because I wasn’t in regular contact with members of the Trump campaign,” he added, “My contact with the campaign in 2016 was Donald Trump. I was not in regular contact with campaign officials.”

On Friday evening appearing on CNN show Cuomo Prime Time, hosted by Chris Cuomo Stone said, “I probably am the person in the indictment.”

Stone also told Cuomo he never denied he was the person named in the indictment.


Of note it was reported in June of 2018, that Roger Stone had a meeting with a Russian Nationalist at a restaurant in Sunny Isles Florida, in the hopes of uncovering dirty on then candidate Hillary Clinton, the meeting took place, sometime in May of 2016.
