President Trump tweeted Sunday about a meeting he had with the Publisher of The New York Times, as was covered by The News Blender, the meeting that was held on July 20th, was an “off the record meeting,” and until the President tweeted about the meeting, the Publisher, A.G. Sulzberger had not disclosed anything that was discussed, until Sunday, after President Trump tweeted

At issue for the paper’s publisher and many in the media, is not President Trump displaying his ire at reporting yelling, “fake news,” the issue is a sitting President labeling a “free press,” the enemy of the people,” that has many media outlets “outraged.”

This weekend found the President’s personal attorney hitting several news outlets, as was reported at The News Blender on Monday, Rudy Giuliani tweeted the word “you,” for seemingly no reason, and dismissed the idea that tweets could show obstruction of justice, while at the same time saying the tweets, “have been helpful and might be the reason President Trump doesn’t have to testify as they lay out his defense.”

Monday found the attorney once again a trending topic on Twitter, when he appeared on CNN’s New Day

CNN — In the wide ranging interview Giuliani says that he doesn’t “even know if collusion is a crime.” When speaking of Paul Manfort’s upcoming trial Giuliani downplayed Manafort’s role as “chairman,” of the campaign stating he had a limited role in so far as he was there just to get “delegates,” adding he had no business dealings with President Trump, “Four months, they’re not going to be colluding with Russia, which I don’t even know if that’s a crime, colluding about Russians,” Giuliani, a former federal prosecutor, continued. “You start analyzing the crime — the hacking is the crime. … The President didn’t hack.”

The idea that “collusion” itself is what is being investigated, is a misnomer in so far as the crime is “colluding with a foreign power, to undermine the country.” In short based on multiple sources from media to the federal national security agencies, to Capital Hill, the crime if one exists, is “Colluding to Conspire.” Which is called “conspiracy against the U.S.” which is in fact a crime.

Monday

The News Blender — Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte did not run for office, but was “chosen as an acceptable person for the leadership position during wrangling between de Maio and Salvini.” During the G7 summit, Conte backed President Trump when the President suggested it was time to possible late Russia back in making waves among our allies, both the G7 allies, and other smaller countries.

There will be more to come on the press conference later.
