Wednesday

On Tuesday President Trump attempted to clarify his remarks from the joint press conference between he and Putin, saying that he misspoke when he said the word “would,” versus the word “wouldn’t,” when he said on Monday,  “My people came to me — Dan Coats came to me and some others — they said they think it’s Russia.  I have President Putin; he just said it’s not Russia. I will say this: I don’t see any reason why it would be, but I really do want to see the server.”

The details of the joint agreement have yet to be made public.

President Trump was interviewed by Fox News show host Tucker Carlson after his summit with Putin, during the interview President Trump expressed concern over Article 5 the article that allows a member country to call up military action from another member country. “If one is attacked we are all attacked,” as the saying goes.

At the same press briefing on Tuesday to clarify his remarks regarding Russia, President Trump said, via CNN, regarding North Korea, “Discussions are ongoing and they’re going very, very well. We have no rush for speed … We have no time limit. We have no speed limit. We have — we’re just going through the process. But the relationships are very good. President Putin is going to be involved in the sense that he is with us.”

The United States and North Korea could meet again as early as July 27th, in order to return remains, “The two sides could meet again July 27, when the US is expecting North Korea to return possible remains of US service members who died in the Korean War.” (CNN)
