In the one minute and six second clip President Trump talks about Mollie Tibbets, the missing Iowa girl who was found murdered after she’d been missing for thirty days. One person has been arrested for her murder.
Mollie’s family has requested privacy at this time, issuing a statement, via CNN:
“Our hearts are broken. On behalf of Mollie’s entire family, we thank all of those from around the world who have sent their thoughts and prayers for our girl. We know that many of you will join us as we continue to carry Mollie in our hearts forever. At this time, our family asks that we be allowed the time to process our devastating loss and share our grief in private. Again, thank you for the outpouring of love and support that has been shared in Mollie’s name. We remain forever grateful.”
Her Aunt Billie Calderwood issued a brief statement of her own, “I don’t want Mollie’s memory to get lost amongst politics,” she added, “It’s not about race, it’s about people joining together to do good.”

In the thirty-nine second video President Trump says, “When I got elected you had some people that said this is going to be the greatest thing that ever happened to our Country. I guess that’s why I won, we had a lot of people, but you had other people that say, ‘oh the market will collapse, lots of bad things will happen.’ And take a look at what’s happened. We have the greatest, longest Bull Market in the history of our Country. They turned out to be wrong, some of actually apologized, but very-very few, I think the rest will soon be apologizing. Because honestly the American public demands an apology. We are doing better financially as a Country then we’ve ever done before.”
