Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh enters day four of his confirmation process. Day three can be found @ The News Blender.
Day three saw drama early, when Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) made news by stating he was willing to be “expelled” from the Senate for releasing to the public documents regarding Judge Kavanugh’s time working for President Bush, deemed “committee confidential.”
As The News Blender reported, Booker explained that the emails in question were deemed “confidential,” due to national security concerns, even though national security was not a factor in the batch of documents the democrats wanted released. Later Thursday Fox News reported that the emails were released prior to Booker’s statement in the hearing.
As with day one, and two, his confirmation hearing was interrupted by protesters
Day four is expected to begin at 9:30 a.m. eastern time 6:30 a.m. pacific time. PBS News Hour reports that Day Four is set aside for witness testimony both for and against confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh.
