Monday Afternoon 

President Trump resumed tweeting @ 2:10 p.m. on Monday. The tweet explains that President Trump urges “the Senate” to pass legislation “that will remove gag clauses,” so pharmacies can tell a patient “the lowest drug price at their,” pharmacy of choice. 

The “gag clause” according to CNBC is one that “pharmacy benefit managers,” might write into their contracts with pharmacies. The clause prevents a pharmacy from telling the patient paying cash versus using insurance might be cheaper. According to CNBC some states have “already enacted their own legislation prohibiting the practice.” 

The Senate is expected to vote on Monday on a bill called “Patient Right To Know Drug Prices Act.” CNBC explains this bill would ban gag clauses. 


At 2:22 p.m. President Trump asked for us to “Join,” him for another “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY,” that is happening Thursday in Las Vegas, Nevada. 


3:27 p.m. President Trump wished America a “Happy Constitution Day!”

President Trump @ 4:53 p.m. tweeted a Fox News clip that is forty-two seconds long. 

Fox News show host, Maria Bartiromo states, “It’s incredible to me that the main stream media refuses to report the actual stories that are most important to the American people. Not to mention your personal life in terms of the fact that you have more money in your pocket and the fact that you have done so much better given these new policies. But also the glaring ignoring of probably the biggest story of our time and that of course is the cabal of people at the top of the FBI and the DOJ who put their finger on the scale and tried to change an election. By creating a narrative that Donald Trump had anything to do with Russia and putting him into the Russian meddling scandal. It’s actually incredible.” 


The first meeting of President Trump’s new National Council for the American Worker met in the Roosevelt room on Monday. President Trump @ 5:53 p.m. tweeting out images from the meeting saying it was a “great honor” to host the event.

At 6:07 p.m. President Trump tweeted out another image this time of himself with Michigan Senate candidate John James (R)

President Trump ended his night on Twitter @ 8:21 p.m. tweeting out a video clip of another event held at The White House on Monday. This time the event was in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. 


Tuesday 

Tuesday found President Trump issuing his first two tweets at 8:42 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. quoting Congressman Peter King who according to President Trump said, “”What will be disclosed is that there was no basis for these FISA Warrants, that the important information was kept from the court, there’s going to be a disproportionate influence of the (Fake) Dossier. Basically you have a counter terrorism tool used to spy on a presidential…….campaign, which is unprecedented in our history.””

On Monday as The News Blender reported President Trump has ordered certain documents to be declassified as they relate to the Russian investigation. 


President Trump @ 8:50 a.m. and again @ 8:55 a.m. sent two more tweets this time his target was China.

9:26 a.m. President Trump wished the United States Air Force a Happy Birthday. 


President Trump @ 11:50 a.m. tweet again two tweets, this time in tweeted a thread. In the thread he explains that “Right now everybody is saying,” they are doing a great job holding Hurricane Florence. But he adds eventually the “Democrats will starting ranting,” that FEMA was a disaster. 

Monday the Washington Post reported that Brock Long the director of FEMA “is facing a potential criminal probe related to his use of government vehicles.” The development comes after a Department of Homeland Security Inspector General probe into Long’s use of government vehicles to travel between Washington and his home in Hickory, North Carolina, was referred to U.S. attorneys. 

In a statement via the Washington Post, Long who arrived in North Carolina on Monday night to survey the damage from Hurricane Florence said, “I am not focused on this investigation. I am fully focused on those impacted by Hurricane Florence.”

According to the article Hurricane Florence has left, “32 dead.” 


President Trump @ 11:59 a.m. thanked the Coast Guard for doing “such a tremendous job!” regarding their response to Hurricane Florence, the tweet also includes a video clip that is 1 minute long.


@ 2:21 p.m. President Trump tweeted a photo of himself, national security adviser John Bolton, and others, showing a “memorandum,” that he signed on Tuesday regarding biodefense.
