As the midterm election nears and races tighten across the country, focus narrows to several nationally watched races, such as the Texas Senate race between incumbent Senator Ted Cruz (R) and Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D).
Tuesday night finds the duo squaring off, in what CBS News calls, “likely,” their last debate from KENS-TV studios located in San Antonio, Texas.
Current polls have Senator Cruz leading on average six points, though O’Rourke did announce last week that his campaign had raised $38.1 million for the third quarter of 2018, the total according to CBS News, was “the largest quarterly fundraising haul in Senate history.” O’Rourke also out raised Senator Cruz in the second quarter “by $6 million.”
The debate is expected to last one hour, and as the News Blender covered during the first debate, we are likely to see more testy exchanges from the pair of Texans.
