Good morning all!
It’s CHRISTMAS Day!
Finally, after all the shopping, all the stress with mall parking lots, after all the cleaning, decorating, cooking, and baking, the time has finally come to belly up to the table, embrace our family and friends, and celebrate Christmas Day.
For me Christmas means celebrating the birth of Christ, the health of my daughter, the giving of my friends and family.
This year, our first Christmas as a website, it means, celebrating each and everyone of you, from the regulars, to the lurkers, to my fellow writers, this Christmas, I’m truly blessed beyond words, to know you, to laugh with you, to cry with you, and even to bitch and moan with you.
As the day passes, we are reminded that, while Christmas burns just a little brighter than other days, as shiny wrapping paper is torn apart, batteries are found for that one gift that apparently “did not include,” them, the joy found on this day should be found in every day.
So from all of us at the News Blender we wish you a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.
