Mother Teresa, now more commonly known in the Roman Catholic Church as Saint Teresa of Calcutta, a Nobel peace prize winner and the founder in 1950 and head of Roman Catholic Order of Missionaries of Charity, was born on Aug. 26, 1910 to Albanian parents in what is now Skopje in Macedonia and passed on Sept 5, 1997.
