As the News Blender reported on Thursday, The Washington Post reported, “North Korea issued a $2 million bill for the hospital care of comatose American Otto Warmbier, insisting that a U.S. official sign a pledge to pay it before being allowed to fly the University of Virginia student home from Pyongyang in 2017.”
HuffPost/New York Magazine Contributor Yasher Ali reported via Twitter, the money was never paid, but was requested by North Korea.

As the News Blender reported on Friday, “The Federal Election Commission” is being sued for “allegedly failing to enforce campaign finance laws against the NRA.
Prior to departing D.C., for the NRA Conference President Trump spoke to reporters.
Responding to a question regarding his past statement on a rally that turned deadly in Charlottesville, the President says, “I was talking about people that went b/c they felt very strongly about the monument to Robert E Lee. A great general, whether you like it or not”

Before he invoked Robert E. Lee, he was asked about Biden’s run. He said “I’m so young. I can’t believe it. I’m the youngest person. I’m a young, vibrant man.” President Trump is 72 only 4 years younger than former Vice President Joe Biden who is 76.
He once again tells reporters he is the most transparent President in the history of our country when asked about blocking aides from testifying before House Committees.

5. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
The Hill reports that “U.S. gross domestic product (GDP) grew at an annual rate of 3.2 percent in the first quarter of 2019, according to an initial estimate of growth released Friday by the Commerce Department.”
It was expected that the U.S. GDP would grow for the first quarter roughly 2.5 percent, “between the first quarters of 2018 and 2019, typically one of the weaker periods for the American economy.”
As a reminder the President will hold his first MAGA rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Saturday, since the Mueller Report was made public.
I’m curious at what point someone asks the President, if he’s already making America Great, why on earth do we need to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!?”
