Out of all the news services, the traffic reports tend to be the dullest. If nothing’s stalling traffic, it’s boring. If there’s a back up, it’s boring. Yes, the information is good to have but mostly it’s rather dull.

Transport for London set up a number of closed-circuit cameras around the city to monitor various intersections, which you can access via the web. However, a dynamic duo has livened up the A-102 Brunswick cam: Graeme and Steve. They’re not there all the time. In fact, you can’t be sure when or if they’ll be around for coverage.

Graeme and Steve are seagulls.

Their antics have garnered quite the Twitter following.

A spokesperson from Transport for London released the following statement:

“Our cameras usually give us a bird’s eye view of traffic across London, but we’d like to thank our new colleagues Graeme and Steve for helping out at beak times.”

In case they aren’t currently on the live cam, you can get your fill of Graeme and Steve on YouTube:
