CNN interviewed 19 undocumented immigrants who say they worked for the Trump Organization and that Donald Trump had to have known they were undocumented during their employment. CNN’s Randi Kaye reports.
When one woman was first hired she had no papers for legal employment and was told by her supervisor that legal papers didn’t matter as long as she did the work.
And when, in 2016, she was suddenly asked to produce ‘legal documentation,’ but when she again told her manager she didn’t have any her manager got his cousin to take her to a house in New Jersey and that her manage himself paid the $175 for the forged documents.
The Trump Organization had no response for CNN’s reporting, but did respond to the NYT’s who first reported on this story that they ‘have strict hiring practices and that if an employee submits false documentation to circumvent the law they will be fired immediately.’
