It’s Tuesday.

The Democratic hopefuls for President square off in a Democratic Primary Debate hosted by CNN. Tuesday nights debate is the first of a two-night event.

Ahead of the debates President Trump has tweeted 12 times so far.

Chances are eventually this tweet will be deleted and replaced to correct the word “arresed” for arrested.

On Monday the Department of Justice announced that on July 26th, “Ahmed Mahad Mohamed and Abdi Yemani Hussein, were arrested for conspiring to provide material support and resources to ISIS, a designated foreign terrorist organization.”

According to court documents Mohamed originally entered the U.S. as a Somalia refugee, at the time of his arrest, the 21 year-old Mohamed, was a legal permanent U.S. citizen.

Hussein also according to court documents is 20 years old and a Somalia refugee.

Mohamed and Hussein have been under investigation since 2018, according to court documents, Mohamed told an undercover FBI agent, “the best wake up call is Islamic State to get victor or another 9/11.”

In June of 2018 while Republicans still held the majority in the House and the Senate CBNC News reported that the House overwhelmingly rejected the latest Republican immigration bill, “leaving Congress no closer to solving a thorny issue that has bewildered lawmakers for years.”

The bill that was failed in a 301 to 121 vote, had been a bill supported by President Trump and took weeks to negotiate.

It failed according to the article because it provided a pathway to citizenship, something opposed by the more conservative House members, while it also funded money to build a border wall plus limited legal immigration, something opposed by most Democratic lawmakers.

The bill that failed came up for vote just a week after the more conservative GOP failed to pass the House.

The point?

It takes two to tango, there can be no reform, unless both parties, both chambers reach an agreement that satisfies the majority.

According to Focus Economics the top three largest economies are the U.S., followed by China, and Japan.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that the U.S. and China resumed trade talks, but expectations are low that a deal will be reached.

According to people briefed on discussions between the two countries, the U.S. is “expecting a pickup in Chinese orders for American farm goods and Beijing waiting for Washington to relax restrictions on Chinese telecommunications gear maker Huawei Technologies Co.’s access to U.S. technology.”

On Monday Joe Scarborough ripped President Trump over comments he made against Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and Cummings district in Baltimore.

On Friday Scarborough labeled Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell as Moscow Mitch. This followed the Kentucky Republican leaders blocking of bills that would address Russian Election interference.

On Monday McConnell addressed critics from the Senate floor.

An opinion piece written by columnist Dana Milbank appeared in the Washington Post on July 26th, Milbank’s piece is title “Mitch McConnell is a Russian asset.”

Milbank explains that he feels that McConnell by blocking measures that would try to ensure U.S. defenses against Russia election interference, that McConnell is in fact doing Putin’s bidding.

The Kentucky Republican is, arguably more than any other American, doing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s bidding.

Milbank Washington Post Opinion Piece.

The President was asked about the opinion prior to departing D.C. on Tuesday.

To be clear, the Washington Post did not call McConnell a Russian asset, an opinion piece that was published by the Washington Post, did.

Infrastructure week number 5.9 billion trillion and five?

Shocking a cable news program about politics would *gasp* follow around campaigns.

In 2017 Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski told Vanity Fair that a week after the President was sworn in, during a lunch between the newly minted President, his daughter Ivanka Trump, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and the morning show co-hosts, that the President came up with an idea.

If they planned on getting married, they should consider doing so at Mar-a-Lago or the White House, they recalled. “That’s when Jared interrupted and said, ‘Hey, you know what? I’ve got my license. I could marry you,’” Scarborough said. (A White House spokeswoman had no comment.)
According to Scarborough, that’s when Trump snapped from the end of the table, saying: “Why would you marry them? They could have the President of the United States marry them.”
I asked them if they would consider the offer now that they are engaged. “The White House that I grew up in was an amazing place. If it weren’t Trump, it might be something to think about,” Brzezinski said. “The mental picture is just fascinating, but the reality is just . . . no. No, no, no, no, no.”

Vanity Fair 2017

Thanks to @Lenny Ghoul, I have now listened to two clips, the first from Monday’s Morning Joe, where Mika Brzezinski blasted Rep. Mark Meadows for not defending Rep. Cummings as Cummings defend him. The clip runs long with guests being pulled in to discuss, her statements happen at the start of the clip.

In the next clip, Brzezinski blasts the President for not having anything better to do than to Twitter rant his unhappiness with her statements.

USA Today reports that several top Democratic lawmakers from Virginia plan to boycott a ceremony marking the “400th anniversary of American democracy in Jamestown after the White House confirmed President Donald Trump will deliver remarks Tuesday morning.”

The boycott of the President’s speech by the black lawmakers comes after the President has taken to Twitter to attack minority lawmakers, including two black Congresspersons.

Highlights from the President Trump south lawn presser.

After his speech at Jamestown the President has tweeted 4 times, and retweeted 7 times.

According to Samirah’s Twitter bio he represents “the people of the 86th district as the youngest Virginia State Delegate & youngest American Muslim legislator anywhere.”

But let’s not worry about foreign interference.

And who cares about states rights anyway, right?

Amy Kremer a former candidate for Congress, is now the co-founder and chair for “women for trump.”

Eric Spracklen is a pro-Trump supporter who believes he is being censored because of his pro-Trump stance.

The re-tweets.

Ivanka Trump is pleased to announce that the Republicans and the Democrats in the Senate have worked together to compose a family paid leave bill.

C-SPAN Capitol Hill Producer Craig Caplan, reported on the 29th of July, that the Senate failed to overturn a President Trump veto that would have prevented the U.S. from selling arms to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other countries. The Senate failed three times to override the President’s veto.

Leader McConnell told us on Monday that he will not let some Democrats “exploit this crisis to push unrelated partisan priorities that have been on their wish list long before 2016.”

USA Today got a re-tweet for a story they did on McConnell and his defense of not allowing debate regarding foreign country election interference.

July 26th, tweeted by LYNN THOMAS, who invited, all of us over to the social media site GAB, make sure you look for their frog logo. According to THOMAS, Americas true enemies, in all caps, are the Democrats.

One from Tomi Lahren, who told us on July 23rd the reason the police aren’t respected is “because attacking, demonizing and harassing police has been normalized by the media, Democrats, and thugs. ENOUGH!”
