On Wednesday the House Oversight Committee is expected to hold a hearing regarding conditions of immigrate minors at border facilities.
The purpose of the hearing according to Oversight.House.gov is to “examine the impact of the Trump Administration’s deterrence policies on the humanitarian crisis at the border, recent reports of dangerous conditions and medical neglect, and the lack of accountability for abuse and misconduct at detention facilities.”

Mariee fell ill, her mother requested care, medication was provided by Mariee’s condition did not improve. Mariee was hospitalized immediately on their release from ICE custody.
