Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–8/3/19

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

The Russian ads had a field day with Hillary Clinton’s track record on the Middle East. Two ads aimed at the conservative crowd focused on Benghazi. P(1)0002373:

An interesting twist had The United Muslims of America attacking her record on the middle east as well. P(1)0003699:

She wasn’t the only candidate from the Democratic primaries to be featured in that month’s Russian ads. Tomorrow we take a look at what they through of Bernie Sanders. For now, enjoy this Open Thread, and have a great Saturday.
