Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–9/15/19

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

There weren’t nearly as many Williams and Kalvin ads as Memeopolis, but there were still a lot in April 2016.

In one breath with p(1)0006246 encourages black pride…

…while p(1)0001571 laments people seeing skin color.

Let me point out, Justin Bieber is Canada’s fault, not ours.

I have to admit, there is a little humor in seeing a fake Facebook post aiming to spread disinformation stating that information is our best weapon. P(1)0006262:
