It’s Tuesday.
Former Campaign Manager for President Trump, Corey Lewandowski, is scheduled to testify before the House Judiciary Committee at 1 p.m. eastern time. There will be a live feed thread posted at 12:55 p.m. eastern time. Pop popcorn.
Excited about the opportunity to remind the American people today there was no collusion no obstruction. There were lots of angry Democrats who tried to take down a duly elected President. Tune in. #Senate2020.

So far for Tuesday President Trump has tweeted 2 times.
The New York Times is at its lowest point in its long and storied history. Not only is it losing a lot of money, but it is a journalistic disaster, being laughed at even in the most liberal of enclaves. It has become a very sad joke all all over the World. Witch Hunt hurt them…

….”That story (Kavanaugh) is nowhere near the standard that should be met in publishing a story.” @brithume @FoxNews

Since I spent time reporting on this on Monday. I’m gonna skip right to the bones of the story.
On Saturday the New York Times published an article, an Opinion Essay based on two reporters upcoming book the Education of Brett Kavanuagh.
In the article they discuss the FBI and a witness to an event similar to that of one of Kavanaugh’s accusers.
This witness, Max Stier, says he told the FBI, that he witnessed a drunk Kavanuagh while at a college party, shove his penis into a female students hand. He says the FBI failed to investigate his accusation.
This female student is unnamed, she declined to be interviewed for the book, her friends told the two writers, Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, both reporters for the Times, that she did not recall the incident.
When the article first appeared on Saturday, the two writers, did not note that the female student’s friend’s said she can’t recall the incident.
The Editor added a disclaimer to the bottom of the piece.
But here’s the bottom line, this was not a new accusation, this was not a news article, nor was it published as such. It was an opinion piece to sale a book. That’s it.
Prior to his rally on Monday, the President called for those involved in publishing the opinion piece to resign.
I call for the Resignation of everybody at The New York Times involved in the Kavanaugh SMEAR story, and while you’re at it, the Russian Witch Hunt Hoax, which is just as phony! They’ve taken the Old Grey Lady and broken her down, destroyed her virtue and ruined her reputation…

…She can never recover, and will never return to Greatness, under current Management. The Times is DEAD, long live The New York Times!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 16, 2019
Later in his rally he told those gathered in New Mexico, that the Republicans would defend their rights to free speech. Irony apparently knows no bounds.
Again. I want to stress the article in the Times, was not a news article, it was an opinion piece. It was published to sale a book. That’s the bottom line.
Here’s another dose of irony, today is Constitution Day.
This post will be updated within reason.
