Ahead of the rally President Trump held a Q&A session with reports from the Oval Office.
Asked about the attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil refineries and if the U.S. was positive the Iranians were responsible, the President said they are “doing some very strong studies,” but it does look that way.
A reporter than asked if he wanted war with Iran, he said no, then bragged that he has spent more on the military than anyone, and that two years ago they weren’t prepared to fight, but they are now.
“It’s looking that way,” President Trump says when asked if if there is evidence that Iran was behind the attack on the Saudi oil facility.

“As soon as we find out definitively we’ll let you know,” he adds. https://t.co/LikcIgXaoi pic.twitter.com/ExoKMd4zeO
He was asked if he thought it was the Saudis responsibility to defend themselves. He said that the Saudis would be involved and if we are going to help them that they would help monetarily in paying for that help.
“The Saudis are going to have a lot of involvement in this if we decide to do something…and that includes payment, and they understand that fully,” Pres. Trump tells @jonkarl when asked if he thinks it’s the responsibility of Saudis to defend themselves. https://t.co/ePT4cWPIvc pic.twitter.com/bR5KlHxZ15

The big question about tonight’s rally is whether or not President Trump will once again blame the light bulb for “being orange.”
