Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–10/27/19

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

Again, African Americans were encouraged to distrust American institutions. P(1)0002087 pointed out how many African American families homeschool because the system underserves them.

P(1)0002988 reminds African Americans about our nation’s history in regards to racism:

We often forget that it wasn’t just the right wing that was told not to trust “mainstream media”. P(1)0001742 makes a subtle dig, saying their stories are “underrepresented by the mass media”, despite the number of times they link to mass media articles on topics:
