Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–11/3/19

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

If you want to follow along, the ads can all be downloaded here. All of today’s ads can be found in the 2016-q2/2016-04 folder.

Here are the totals for April 2016:

  • Memeopolis–63
  • Black Matters–37
  • Stop All Immigrants–32
  • Williams & Kalvin–27
  • Don’t Shoot–21
  • Being Patriotic–20
  • Blacktivist–9
  • Tea Party News–6
  • Rebel Texas–2
  • LGBT United–1
  • Pray For Police–1

If the patterns continue, May 2016 should prove to be a very interesting, very strange month.

THIS IS AN OPEN THREAD. Take care, and have a wonderful Sunday.
