Trump Tweets: Open Thread Tuesday

It’s Tuesday.

It’s day 49 of the Impeachment Inquiry.

We are one day away from the first public hearing regarding the Impeachment Inquiry.

The President so far for Tuesday has tweeted 7 times.

The memorandum is not a transcript of the call between President Trump and President Zelensky of the Ukraine.

Caution TELCON is not a verbatim transcript.

The video is cued to former Vice President Joe Biden’s comments that the President is referring to in his tweet.

Never Trumper =’s human scum according to the President.

Scheduled to testify on Wednesday are Ambassador William Taylor and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent, their deposition testimony can be found, here, and here.

Again not a transcript, it will be a memorandum of a call that President Trump made to newly elected President Zelensky from April.

According to Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman’s testimony the call from April 21st, was “complimentary, positive. He [President Trump] repeatedly praised President Zelensky for the significant landslide victory he had achieved. And, in general, I think there was, you know, probably a little bit of humor exchanged.”

Vindman went on to testify that the tone of President Trump in the second call on July 25th, was different “the atmospherics and the tone were not the same.”

This is the President’s 7th tweet, but I decided to include it here as it relates to the Impeachment Inquiry.

The tweet comes on the day that the Supreme Court will take up the case that will as NBC News reports decide the fate of the Obama-era program that allowed 800,000 young people who entered the country as children to avoid deportation.

Dreamers, according to a 2017 study published by the CATO Institute have a lower-rate of incarceration than native-born Americans.

We estimate that DREAMers had an incarceration rate of 0.98 percent in 2015 compared to a native-born incarceration rate of 1.12 percent, a DACA-ineligible illegal immigrant incarceration rate of 0.38 percent, and a legal immigrant incarceration rate of 0.24 percent.

The native-born incarceration rate is 14 percent higher than the DREAMer incarceration rate, while DACA-ineligible illegal immigrants and legal immigrants have the lowest rates of all.

CATO 8/30/17.

For what it’s worth.

On Monday President Trump tweeted:

As you can see he deleted the tweet requesting his followers vote for the very loyal guy Sean Spicer on Dancing with the Stars.

He then posted:

He did not delete the second tweet.

Question: Why delete the first tweet and keep the second one?

Also we can file this under ETTD.

This post will be update within reason.

This is an Open Thread.
