On Wednesday the House Intelligence Committee held their first public impeachment hearing. On Thursday the President has tweeted 9 times and retweeted 9 times in response to that hearing.
.@RepRatcliffe asked the two “star” witnesses, “where is the impeachable event in that call?” Both stared straight ahead with a blank look on their face, remained silent, & were unable to answer the question. That would be the end of a case run by normal people! – but not Shifty!

“Neither one of the Democrat star witnesses at the Impeachment hearings could point out an impeachable offense. That’s the result!” @Varneyco @FoxBusiness

President Trump continues to use Fox programming as his primary defense on impeachment.

John Ratcliffe's defense of Trump rests on Zelensky saying he didn't feel pressured during the fateful July phone call. But because Ukraine depends on the US for support, this isn't the devastating counterpoint he thinks it is. pic.twitter.com/123iRQDdEI

Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) asks the witnesses, Ambassador William Taylor, and Deputy Secretary of State George Kent if either of them were there “today” to assert that President Trump committed an impeachable offense.
Around the 1:22 of the clip Taylor responded to the question, this was after Ratcliffee demanded that his time be suspended in order to allow Taylor the ability to answer his own question the he withdrew.
Taylor in part: I’m not here to do anything having to do with–to decide about impeachment that is not what either of us are here to do. This is your job.
.@DanHenninger WSJ: Nancy Pelosi had it right the first time when she did not want to go down the Impeachment path. Make it a voting issue. But no, the Left insisted on raising this to the gravity of a constitutional crisis & Impeachment. The hearings suggested it’s not going…

….anywhere, so we’ve now had 3 years of the Democrats chasing Donald Trump. Nancy Pelosi’s worried about the American voter looking for someone to blame for that eventually. Look at her own story in the House. What have they done? The average American can’t identify anything…

According to The Wall Street Journal bio page, Daniel Henninger is deputy editor of The Wall Street Journal’s editorial page. He has a weekly column called Wonder Land, that is posted every Thursday.
Here are the words that I can verify from the President’s tweeted quote.
Nancy Pelosi was right the first time [she did not want to go down the Impeachment path. Make it a voting issue.] But no, [the Left] insisted [on raising this to the gravity of a] constitutional crisis [and Impeachment. The hearings suggested it’s not going…anywhere, so we’ve now had 3 years of the Democrats chasing Donald Trump. Nancy Pelosi’s worried the] American [voter] looking for someone to blame for that [eventually at her own story in the House. What have they done? The average American can’t identify anything…that the House Democrats have done since she’s become Speaker, other than chase Donald Trump.]
I attempted to see if Henninger appeared on Fox News, as his Twitter bio say’s he is a Fox News commentator, but I was unable to locate anything.
