It’s Friday.

Day 73 of the Impeachment Inquiry is upon us. On Thursday Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced that she had direct Chairman of the Judiciary Committee to draw up Articles of Impeachment for President Trump.

Following her announcement the House Judiciary Committee Chairman, Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) announced that on Monday the Committee will hold “a hearing to receive presentations from counsels to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and House Judiciary Committee, as authorized by the House of Representatives under H. Res. 660 related to the Impeachment of President Donald J. Trump.”

The full text of the hearing notice can be found here, the statement was posted to Medium.com.

For Finally Friday the President has tweeted 8 times and retweeted 7 times.

There is always a tweet…

2012

2014.

But wait there’s more….

April 21st, 2018.

On April 20th, 2018 Maggie Haberman, Sharon LaFraniere, and Danny Hakim wrote an article entitled: Michael Cohen Has Said He Would Take a Bullet for Trump. Maybe Not Anymore.

From the article:

For years Mr. Trump treated Mr. Cohen poorly, with gratuitous insults, dismissive statements and, at least twice, threats of being fired, according to interviews with a half-dozen people familiar with their relationship.

The New York Times 4/20/18.

The story was published prior to Michael Cohen’s arrest and guilty pleas relating in part to hush money payments paid during 2016 at what Cohen, the one-time personal attorney of President Trump, said was “at the direction of the President,” in order to keep those women silent over alleged affairs they had with businessman Trump after he married his third wife.

The report did follow the FBI raid on Cohen’s offices, and home.

The section of the article that President Trump took issue, appears to be this:

Now, for the first time, the traffic may be going Mr. Cohen’s way. Mr. Trump’s lawyers and advisers have become resigned to the strong possibility that Mr. Cohen, who has a wife and two children and faces the prospect of devastating legal fees, if not criminal charges, could end up cooperating with federal officials who are investigating him for activity that could relate, at least in part, to work he did for Mr. Trump.

The New York Times 4/20/18.

Convicted felon Roger Stone was quoted for the article at the time saying, “Donald goes out of his way to treat him [Cohen] like garbage.

August 22nd, 2018.

But yeah the reporting that he treated Cohen like shit and that Cohen might flip was all just fake news.

The Economy Tweets.

Historic!!!! 🙄

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics summary released on Friday, the U.S. economy add 266,000 nonfarm payroll jobs for the month of November.

The summary goes onto say that employment in manufacturing rose “reflecting the return of workers from a strike.”

According to the report released today “Manufacturing employment rose by 54,000 in November, following a decline of 43,000 in the prior month. Within manufacturing, employment in motor vehicles and parts was up by 41,000 in November, reflecting the return of workers who were on strike in October.”

In the summary released for October the Labor Department explained, “Manufacturing employment decreased by 36,000 in October. Within manufacturing, employment in motor vehicles and parts declined by 42,000, reflecting strike activity.”

So in short those “blowout” numbers, are simply workers returning to the jobs they had before the auto workers strike. They are not new or added jobs.

In today’s release the Labor Department also revised the nonfarm payroll jobs numbers for September up by 13,000 and October was revised up by 28,000.

The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for September was revised up by 13,000 from +180,000 to +193,000, and the change for October was revised up by 28,000 from +128,000 to +156,000. With these revisions, employment gains in September and October combined were 41,000 more than previously reported. (Monthly revisions result from additional reports received from businesses and government agencies since the last published estimates and from the recalculation of seasonal factors.) After revisions, job gains have averaged 205,000 over the last 3 months.

BLS summary 12/6/19.

I bet you can guess where the President heard Tammy Bruce’s quote.

The clip I found, honestly I didn’t look all that hard, but I did google Tammy Bruce Fox News and YouTube provided the above 2 minute segment from Varney Co. The segment was reaction to Democratic Presidential hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden’s confrontation with a voter from Iowa.

As a reminder the President has tweeted twice, with his Press Secretary confirming his tweets on Fox News, that those of us that do not support the President are “human scum.”

As reminder just Monday the President tweeted that the Federal Reserve should go lower in lowering interest rates.

As far as the border and drugs, according to many reports from the government, typically drug smugglers are American’s or Legal Entry Aliens.

The U.S. Navy reported on Friday morning confirmed reports that a shooting had occurred at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida.

At 9:01 a.m. eastern time the U.S. Navy confirmed that the shooter had died along with one of the victims.

The U.S. Navy has now confirmed that two more victims have died.

The names of the victims will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.

Friday’s shooting at a Naval Base is the second such shooting in just a couple of days.

On December 4th, two victims were killed at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Hawaii. The shooter was also killed from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Happy Friday All. I do hope you have a pleasant weekend, remember there are only 19 more sleeps until Christmas!
