It’s Monday.
Day 76 of the Impeachment Inquiry has arrived in the form of a House Judiciary Committee hearing featuring legal counsel testimony/presentations to the Committee regarding the case that President Trump committed impeachable offenses.
As the hearing rolls on, we are also currently awaiting the release of the highly anticipated year-long Department of Justice Inspector General report regarding the origins of Trump campaign/Russia Election Interference Investigation.
Reporting has the IG Report falling short of the Republican’s concerns that the investigation was politically motivated or that the FBI willingly lied about the connections between Trump campaign members and Russia.
On Sunday Politico reporter Natasha Bertrand reported that the timing of the release of the report has some people interviewed by Inspector General Horowitz “irked.”
NEW: The timing of the IG report’s release tomorrow has irked some former officials Horowitz interviewed, who told us that the standard review period afforded in an IG probe seemed rushed so it would be released in the middle of impeachment proceedings.https://t.co/fhFDFMYXHO

This is gonna be interesting today. Christopher Steele was told yesterday that information on him that he has not reviewed and was expected to be redacted was declassified and will now be included in the Inspector General’s report today.

Inspector General Horowitz is expected to testify to his findings contained in the report on December 11th, before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
For those of us curious about the Sunday retweeting/tweeting marathon of our current sitting President.
According to Trump Twitter Archive President Trump tweeted 24 times and retweeted 82 times. That’s a total of 106 tweets and retweets between hours of 10:17 a.m. and *12:07 a.m.. That’s roughly 14 hours of tweeting and retweeting.
*The two sent after midnight are technically Monday’s tweets, so that gives him a total of 104 tweets for Sunday.*
For this busy Monday the President has tweeted 5 times.
The first tweet came about an hour and ten minutes into today’s Impeachment Inquiry Hearing.

The linked tweet is an article that was published by the Daily Mail US on December 2nd, just before President Trump departed DC for the NATO Summit in London, where he departed early after it was revealed some countries leaders mocked him.
The article references a TIME interview with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. During his interview he is asked about the Trump-Ukraine Impeachment Inquiry he responds:
Look, I never talked to the President from the position of a quid pro quo. That’s not my thing. … I don’t want us to look like beggars. But you have to understand. We’re at war. If you’re our strategic partner, then you can’t go blocking anything for us. I think that’s just about fairness. It’s not about a quid pro quo. It just goes without saying.
