President Impeached ended his Monday with 15 tweets and 28 retweets. Links are here, at Trump Twitter Archive.

Monday, January 27, 2020, commemorated the 75th year of International Holocaust Remembrance Day memorializing the liberation of Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp on January 27, 1945.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international memorial day on 27 January commemorating the tragedy of the Holocaust that occurred during the Second World War. It commemorates the genocide that resulted in the deaths of 6 million Jews and 11 million others, by the Nazi regime and its collaborators. It was designated by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 60/7 on 1 November 2005 during the 42nd plenary session. The resolution came after a special session was held earlier that year on 24 January 2005 during which the United Nations General Assembly marked the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps and the end of the Holocaust.

On 27 January 1945, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and death camp, was liberated by the Red Army.

That one that reaches into the Way Back Machine to 2015 to find an endorsement:

WOTUS: Waters of the United States. (epa.gov)

The Clean Water Rule is a 2015 regulation published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to clarify water resource management in the United States under a provision of the Clean Water Act of 1972. The regulation defined the scope of federal water protection in a more consistent manner, particularly over streams and wetlands which have a significant hydrological and ecological connection to traditional navigable waters, interstate waters, and territorial seas. It is also referred to as the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule, which defines all bodies of water that fall under U.S. federal jurisdiction. The rule was published in response to concerns about lack of clarity over its scope from legislators at multiple levels, industry members, researchers and other science professionals, activists, and citizens.

The rule was contested in litigation. In 2017 the Trump administration announced its intent to review and rescind or revise the rule. A Supreme Court ruling on January 22, 2018 lifted a nationwide stay placed on the rule by a lower court, returning jurisdiction to a patchwork of conflicting decisions from the circuit courts of appeals. Two weeks later, the Trump administration formally suspended the rule until February 6, 2020. The Trump administration formally repealed the WOTUS rule on September 12, 2019.

And yet how weird is it Andrew Johnson is still considered the duly elected 17th elected POTUS and Clinton is still considered the duly elected 42nd POTUS? You can’t “overturn” an election with Impeachment. The 45th POTUS will go down into the annals of history as the Impeached POTUS regardless of the Republicans insulting fearmongering and lying play on people’s ignorance.

What was conspicuously absent from President Impeached/Unindicted Co-conspirator/Individual 1’s Twitter time-line Monday, the 75th year commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day, was Benjamin Netanyahu’s White House visit.

Though the @WhiteHouse Twitter feed managed to squeeze in a couple video clips and a President Impeached’s retweet of the above pictured wreath.

Couple of side notes:

Busy, busy, busy.

As a reminder, this is the district represented by former Democrat turned Republican Jeff Van Drew.
