While the Senate debated the rules for the upcoming Senate Trial that will determine if the now Impeached President Donald Trump should be removed from office, the President was in Davos, Switzerland meeting with world leaders.
Being on foreign soil did not hinder the tweeting/retweeting. Between *Tuesday and Wednesday the President has tweeted 12 times and retweeted 90 times.
*Time zones are real*
Within the first hour of the Senate Impeachment Trial the President tweeted in all caps.
READ THE TRANSCRIPTS!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 21, 2020
He isn’t referring to the testimony transcripts of witnesses that expressed concern over his asking the Ukraine government to investigate a political rival and his son in exchange for a White House meeting and military aid; he is referring to the two Memorandums of the two calls he had with Ukraine President Zelensky. Neither the April 21st call or the July 25th call is a transcript they are both Memorandums.
To review witness testimony @ Just Security.

In the clip he blasts the Federal Reserve for raising interest rates to fast and not lowering them fast enough. He also praises negative interest rates, sort of.

Trump suggests Obama administration officials should be severely punished for investigating his campaign: “If this were reversed & this was Obama that this happened to, people would be in jail for 50- & 100-year terms. On December 18th, 2019 the President was Impeached in the House. The Democratic Senators, and House Impeachment Managers did demand to hear testimony from key witnesses to determine if the Impeachable offenses committed by President Trump are enough to warrant his removal from Office.
Big story. Hope Fake News covers it! https://t.co/NCtUYK6Eco

Ellis was referring to this tweet in her tweet that the President commented on.
Adam Schiff may have mischaracterized a piece of the Lev Parnas evidence from last week, according to unredacted documents obtained by @politico… The story >> https://t.co/canRArBovk
— Melanie Zanona (@MZanona) January 22, 2020
From the Politico article published on Tuesday.
House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff appears to have mischaracterized a text message exchange between two players in the Ukraine saga, according to documents obtained by POLITICO — a possible error the GOP will likely criticize asanother example of the Democrats’ rushed effort to impeach President Donald Trump.
The issue arose when Schiff (D-Calif.) sent a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) last week summarizing a trove of evidence from Lev Parnas, an indicted former associate of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani. In one section of the letter, Schiff claims that Parnas “continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky,” citing a specific text message exchange where Parnas tells Giuliani: “trying to get us mr Z.” The remainder of the exchange — which was attached to Schiff’s letter — was redacted.
The apparent mischaracterization, however, does not undercut Democrats’ argument that Trump withheld critical military aid to Ukraine as a way to pressure Zelenksy into opening up investigations into the Bidens, including Joe Biden’s son Hunter, who was once a board member on Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas company.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 22, 2020
Nobody has voted yet in the Democratic Presidential Primary. The first vote will be held on Feb. 3rd in Iowa.
This is the second time the President has without evidence suggested the Democratic Primary is rigged against Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders in just 5 days.
They are rigging the election again against Bernie Sanders, just like last time, only even more obviously. They are bringing him out of so important Iowa in order that, as a Senator, he sit through the Impeachment Hoax Trial. Crazy Nancy thereby gives the strong edge to Sleepy…

“Not the Senate’s job to mop up the mess made in the House by the Democrats. Biden admitted that he went to Ukraine and did the Quid Pro Quo.” @SteveScalise @FoxNews
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 22, 2020
It’s the Senate’s job to decide if the President needs removed because of the Impeachable conducted found during the House Impeachment Inquiry.
It’s not about cleaning up the mess from the House, the House proved through hours of testimony and documents they were able to obtain that President Trump held up military aid that was approved by a bipartisan Congress and approved by the Department of Defense to be sent to Ukraine. He also denied a newly elected Ukrainian President a White House meeting Both of those things were done until that newly elected President announced an investigation into a political rival.
The aid was released without the announcement or investigation by Ukraine, the reason for that, isn’t because it wasn’t asked for, the President got caught, in order to cover-up the scandal, the President and his team released the funds. The sought after Oval Office meeting has yet to occur.
Former Vice President Joe Biden did not confess to a quid pro quo, while VP, Biden with the support of both Democrats and Republicans in Congress held up a loan until they fired a corrupt Ukrainian General Prosecutor who was not investigating corruption in that country.
To learn more about Trump/Ukraine and the U.S.’s relationship with that country, @ Just Security has published hundreds of documents and testimony released to the public.
Heading back to Washington from @Davos , Switzerland. Very successful (for USA) trip!

Due to weather, Pres has to motorcade from Davos to Zurich, instead of fly Marine One. Delays his return home by a couple more hours. Pity. The Marine One flight through the Alps is spectacular scenery. The drive to Zurich may be eye-catching from a lower altitude.

Prior to departing Switzerland the President held a press conference in where he downplays injuries to U.S. troops, laments being upstaged by a teen climate activist, and whines that radio show host and Fox News show host Sean Hannity and radio host Rush “Rush Bo” Limbaugh have not received Pulitzer Prizes for their coverage of President Trump.

The President also explained that “Honestly, we have all the material, they don’t have the material,” regarding the documents requested by the House, via subpoena, that the White House refused to produced. Hence why he was charged and Impeached for Obstructing Congress.
In an incredible exchange at Davos, @realdonaldtrump admits he is comfortable with the status of the impeachment trial because the White House is withholding evidence. “Honestly, we have all the material.
