Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–2/2/2020

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

If you want to follow along, the ads can all be downloaded here. All of today’s ads can be found in the 2016-q2/2016-06 folder.

Continuing yesterday’s Don’t Shoot theme, we see they started calling people to action. P(1)0003577 reiterates a common theme that the US is a police state:

P(1)0003569 states “we must make the cops stop thinking they are above the law”:

P(1)0003513 has one answer as to what can be done:

“Take out a few dozen cops and the rest will change.” I am glad to see this ad got no click throughs.

THIS IS AN OPEN THREAD. Take care, and have a good Sunday.
