This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

The Born Liberal group had some interesting images attached to their ads in July 2016. P(1)0004869 combined a number of different triggering images:
P(1)0004825 was even less subtle on its imagery:
P(1)0004827 piggybacked on an actual group–Unite Blue, specifically their West Virginia page (although I’m not finding that specific state’s page now).
