This week’s Something Good is going the extra mile, literally, to help someone in need.
A kind couple took Dennis, an 80 year old gentleman who got lost on his way from Arizona to Wisconsin, under their wing. He’d been driving for a week but kept getting lost. They met him at a truck stop, and when they learned about his situation, they programmed his GPS, filled up his gas tank, called his son to tell him what was happening, and sent him on his way with their phone number.
Dennis called a few minutes later, lost, and the couple decided they only had one choice. They drove to where he was, then lead him safely to his destination, three hours away.
