It’s Friday.

President Out of Touch With Reality has tweeted 3 times so far for Friday.

In his first tweet he promoted his 11 a.m. D.C. time event where he honored Jim Ryun with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

From the White House:

Jim Ryun is one of the most accomplished American runners in history and a former United States Representative from Kansas. Despite being cut from every athletic team in junior high, Ryun made the track team at Wichita East High School, where he went on to break the world record for the mile and compete in the 1964 Olympic Games. While at the University of Kansas, Ryun broke several more world records, won the silver medal at the 1968 Mexico City Games, and competed in the 1972 Munich Games. Among many other accolades, he was named ABC Wide World of Sports Athlete of the Year and earned the James E. Sullivan Amateur Athlete Award. Following his outstanding athletic career, Ryun honorably served his home State of Kansas in the United States Congress from 1996 to 2006. He has since written three books and currently gives motivational speeches around the country.

The event was scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. D.C. time, but started at 11:24 a.m. D.C. time, as President White Rabbit was as usual late to his own scheduled event.

President Always Late moved away from plugging himself giving out a Presidential honor to praise himself for Elon Musk agreeing to build an auto plant in “TEXAS.”

AP News reported on Wednesday that Elon Musk CEO of Tesla said that work on a 2,100 acre auto assembly plant has already begun in Travis County near Austin, Texas.

Tesla’s new plant will get more than, “$60 million in tax breaks from the county and a local school district over the next decade,” according to Musk.

The new factory will be where Tesla’s upcoming Cybertruck pickup will be manufactured. The new factory is expected to employee 5,000 people.

Musk according to the AP has pledged to ” invest $1.1 billion and said it will pay a minimum wage of $15 per hour to employees and provide health insurance, paid leave and other benefits.

Tesla has a factory in California, Shanghai, and one is currently being built in Germany.

For what it’s worth, I got a bit of chuckle reading this part of the AP News article; But at present, Tesla can’t legally sell its vehicles in Texas. A state law requires cars to be sold through franchised dealers, not company stores like Tesla operates. [lol].

President Bitter Clinger clings to the idea that people care deeply about what our Military bases are called.

On Thursday NPR.org reported that the Senate passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which includes a provision that would all military bases named after Confederate officers to be renamed.

Bitter Clinger has bitterly stated his opposition to renaming the military bases because of reasons…

As NPR notes, currently the NDAA has a veto proof majority with the *86-14 vote which moves NDAA to conference where the House and Senate will iron out details of the final $741 billion spending bill.

Inhofe of OK., is quoted as saying that House and Senate lawmakers would work to produce a bill, “that both sides can support and the president can sign.”

Inhofe voted to approve the bill with the renaming of the military bases provision included according to Senate.gov roll call.

*According to Senate.gov, the roll call vote was 87 YEAs and 13 NAYs.*

President EO’s Are Cool Now is expected to sign an Executive Order at 3 p.m. D.C. time on lowering drug prices. He is also going to offer remarks at the event.

At present there is no Presidential Daily Lie to the Press event added to his schedule, however, @ sometime after 1 p.m. D.C. time, Lying liar that lies Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is now holding a press briefing.

I assume she’ll blow Trump’s great leadership in cancelling the upcoming RNC nominating portion of the RNC convention that was suppose to happen in Jacksonville, Fl., in mid August. She’ll do this while at the same time demanding schools be reopened ASAP.

Dr. Brix of the coronavirus task force spoke on the TODAY show regarding school reopening, saying in part that she can’t tell us if children under 10 can spread the virus the same as children over 10. [the video is cued to the part of the 8 minute video that discusses schools reopening in the “fall.”
