Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–8/22/2020

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

Yet again the Russian ads pushed the idea that no one in the US cares about Black Americans–but them. P(1)0000308 wants the audience to know that, in no uncertain terms, no one is listening to them:

P(1)0000338 reminds them that the media will not show positive Black role models:

P(1)00000869 tells people African Americans that politicians don’t care about police brutality:
