It’s Friday.
There is one day to go before President Hypocrite announces his nominee to replace Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
There is four days to go before the first Presidential Debate.
So far for Friday President Loony Tunes has tweeted 3 times and retweeted 42 times.
In his first tweet he Cry’s us a River over Fox News polling.
From the article:
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden leads President Donald Trump in the battleground states of Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, according to Fox News statewide likely voter surveys.
There are few undecided voters, and Biden’s support is 50 percent or better in each state. His advantage over Trump is outside the margin of error in Nevada and Pennsylvania, but not Ohio.
Across the states, Biden’s edge comes mainly from women, nonwhites, voters under age 35, and those ages 65 and over. When it comes to handling coronavirus in particular, more seniors trust Biden to do a better job than Trump — in larger numbers than back his candidacy overall.Biden leads by 8 points among seniors, 15 points among women, and 36 points among voters under age 35. Hispanics favor him by 28 points (61-33 percent). That is similar to the 31-point advantage Hillary Clinton received among Nevada Hispanic voters in 2016.
Fox News. 09/24/2020.
Trump is ahead by 2 points among Whites, 7 points among Whites without a college degree, and 12 among rural voters.
The methodology; Conducted September 20-23, 2020 under the joint direction of Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company (R), these Fox News surveys include interviews with 810 Nevada likely voters, 830 Ohio likely voters, and 856 Pennsylvania likely voters randomly selected from statewide voter files, who spoke with live interviewers on landlines and cellphones. In each state, the margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points for the total sample of likely voters. Nevada respondents could complete the interview in English or Spanish.
He moves to say he’s working hard in “New Mexico.”
For more on polls and the affect the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg might be having on the polls @ the News Blender.
The Hypocrite moves on to bash fellow Republican, Governor of Massachusetts Charlie Baker. The tweet has earned yet another Twitter label regarding mail-in voting.

As to Pennsylvania…
On Thursday during the Press Secretary’s, Lie Fest, McEnany told reporters that 9 ballots all cast for the sitting President in Pennsylvania were found discarded.
The original link she posted was removed, I did not see the original statement.
Updated DOJ statement on discarded Trump ballots ⬇️ https://t.co/phaeSC7GUA
— Kayleigh McEnany (@PressSec) September 24, 2020
The new statement:
HARRISBURG – On Monday, September 21, 2020, at the request of Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis, the Office of the United States Attorney along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Scranton Resident Office, began an inquiry into reports of potential issues with a small number of mail-in ballots at the Luzerne County Board of Elections.
Since Monday, FBI personnel working together with the Pennsylvania State Police have conducted numerous interviews and recovered and reviewed certain physical evidence. Election officials in Luzerne County have been cooperative. At this point we can confirm that a small number of military ballots were discarded. Investigators have recovered nine ballots at this time. Some of those ballots can be attributed to specific voters and some cannot. Of the nine ballots that were discarded and then recovered, 7 were cast for presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Two of the discarded ballots had been resealed inside their appropriate envelopes by Luzerne elections staff prior to recovery by the FBI and the contents of those 2 ballots are unknown.
Our inquiry remains ongoing and we expect later today to share our up to date findings with officials in Luzerne County. It is the vital duty of government to ensure that every properly cast vote is counted.

Pretty clear the problem here wasn't absentee voting, which is routine for military personnel, but rather the new (and controversial) ruling that requires ballots be placed in privacy envelopes. More on that: https://t.co/hb4I2EmQiq
According to the Lehigh Valley Live article top elections officials in Philadelphia are “warning of electoral chaos in the presidential battleground state if lawmakers there do not remove a provision in Pennsylvania law that, under a days-old court decision, requires counties to throw out mail-in ballots returned without secrecy envelopes.”
When you consider that the 2016 Presidential Election in Pennsylvania was decided by just over 44,000 votes, you can see why I am concerned, [Lisa Deeley chairwoman of the three member board overseeing the election said to state lawmakers]
Some 30,000 to 40,000 mail-in ballots could arrive without secrecy envelopes in Philadelphia alone in November’s presidential election, Deeley estimated, and the state Supreme Court’s interpretation of current law forces election officials to throw out the so-called “naked ballots.”

Yup. From the latest DOJ statement, it seems like:
— Tim Alberta (@TimAlberta) September 25, 2020
9 military voters sent write-in absentee ballots to Luzerne.
Because these letters weren't in SC-mandated privacy envelopes, Luzerne officials thought they were *requests* for absentee ballots. They opened them, spoiling them. https://t.co/WsAJw9gBg1
It appears on the surface at least, three things; One, this is an on-going investigation, we don’t typically see DOJ Attorney’s offer comments on those. Two, this hiccup in the system seems to be the states Republican leaders fault. Three, this shows that fraud is prevented even when using mail-in ballots. Given that, like I said, as of now, it appears these 9 ballots 7 for Trump and 2 for unknown persons, were discarded because they did not comply with the new rules set further by the court in Pennsylvania.
According to Factba.se President Rambling Man, will be Rambling his way through several states to campaign leading up to a campaign rally, which I will once again, not be providing a thread for. I will have the Supreme Court press stupid posted for Saturday. There will be a thread for the President Debate on Tuesday. I will make a decision after Wednesday on what rallies if any I will feature at the Blender going forward.
