The linked article just quotes Senator Ron Johnson’s interview on Fox News show “Sunday Morning Futures.”

On Wednesday, October 14th, the *New York Post released an “exclusive,” news report that they allegedly obtained emails from a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden, Democratic Nominee for President Joe Biden’s son.
In the article they say according to one of those emails Hunter Biden introduced his dad then-Vice President to a top-executive from the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
The Biden campaign denies the meeting took place.
On Thursday, October 15 NBC News reported that “Federal investigators are examining whether emails allegedly describing activities by Joe Biden and his son Hunter and found on a laptop at a Delaware repair shop are linked to a foreign intelligence operation, two people familiar with the matter told NBC News.”
On Sunday, October 18th, the New York Times reported that the “New York Post’s front-page article about Hunter Biden on Wednesday was written mostly by a staff reporter who refused to put his name on it, two Post employees said.”
Bruce Golding, a reporter at the Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid since 2007, did not allow his byline to be used because he had concerns over the article’s credibility, the two Post employees said, speaking on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation.

According to the Times reporting the New York Post had two sources for the emails obtained off a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden. Those sources; Steve Bannon, indicted conman, and President Such a Clown’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani told the Times he chose the Post on October 11th, 2020, when he gave them a copy of the hard drive, because, “either nobody else would take it, or if they took it, they would spend all the time they could to try to contradict it before they put it out.”
They go on to explain that at least one aside from Golding refused to have their name included with the article.
The byline of the article included Emma-Jo Morris, “deputy politics editor who joined the paper after four years at the Murdoch-owned Fox News,” and “Gabrielle Fonrouge, a Post reporter since 2014”.
Morris who was an associate producer on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show, arrived at the Post in April of this year, and Wednesday’s article was her first bylined article.
According to three people with knowledge of how the article was prepared Fonrouge had little to do with the writing or reporting of the article.

Johnson says that “the FBI has a duty if they believe this was maybe Russian disinformation, they should give us a defensive briefing.” Johnson goes on to say that “if, for example, they also believe that what information this whistleblower gave us is fraudulent, that would also be a crime, and FBI should tell us that.”
Johnson the Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Governmental Affairs Committee released a 87 page report on the Biden’s alleged corruption regarding Hunter Biden’s position on the board of Burisma and his fathers role as Vice President on September 23rd, 2020.
