It’s a busy Friday morning.
Up first White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki holds her daily press briefing at 10 a.m. D.C., time.
Asked in yesterday’s briefing, that I in full disclosure missed as real life was real lifing when it was on, was asked about the slew and flurry of Executive Orders/Actions and Memorandums in the first few weeks of President Biden’s term and what it means for his campaign promise that he’ll be a President for all Americans but seems to be acting “unilaterally”.
She explains that the actions he is taking now are for the benefit of all Americans and they are popular actions based on the polling they are seeing.

Up second on this busy Friday morning, is the second White House Covid-19 Response Team and Health Official Briefing.
I assume the Response Team will address the latest news that Johnson & Johnson’s single-shot vaccine against the coronavirus has shown to be “66% effective in preventing moderate and severe disease in a global Phase 3 trial, but 85% effective against severe disease, CNN reported on Friday.
In a call with reporters this morning Dr. Anthony Fauci said “If you can prevent severe disease in a high percentage of individuals, that will alleviate so much of the stress and human suffering and death.”
