Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–2/14/2021

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

Happy Valentine’s Day! There was only one ad in February 2017 to mention Valentine’s Day. It was from the Brown United Front group with ad p(1)0005252:

But what if you were at a loss for a Valentine’s gift? You could buy a Black History Month t-shirt from p(1)0002982:

If you wanted something cheaper, and you lived in Florida, they offered a free “shooting package” in p(1)0001336:
