On Tuesday the Senate Judiciary Committee holds Day 2 of Judge Merrick Garland’s confirmation hearing. On Day 2, the Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to hear from witnesses regarding the Judge’s ability to run the Department of Justice.

During Day One’s confirmation hearing, Judge Garland told the committee if he was confirmed as Attorney General that he would supervise the prosecution of white supremacists and others that attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021.
