Day 2 of the 45th President of the United States Twice Impeached Donald Trump Senate Trial is scheduled to start at noon D.C., time, on Wednesday.
What to expect from Day 2?
Based on the Resolution passed on Monday, both the House managers and Impeached Dick’s Defense team will have 16 hours in which to present their arguments for or against convicting the One-Term former, but Still Twice Impeached President. Both presentations are expected to take place over 2 days.
The Senate agreed to a request made by David Schoen to pause the trial for the Jewish day of rest, but Schoen has withdrawn his request, according to a CNN report.
In a letter written to Sens. Pat Leahy, Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell, Schoen wrote, “Based on adjustments that have been made on the President’s defense team, I am writing today to withdraw my request so that the proceedings can go forward as originally contemplated before I made my request. I will not participate during the Sabbath; but the role I would have played will be fully covered to the satisfaction of the defense team.”

Up first is the House of Representatives, with the House Impeachment Managers being led by Democrat Congressman James Raskin of Maryland.
CNN is reporting that according to Democratic aides, the House Impeachment Managers plan to do much as they did on Tuesday which was to retell the events that unfolded on January 6th. The same Democratic aides say there will be new evidence included in their presentation.
Wednesday morning Politico reported that the “new evidence,” is possibly security camera footage; The footage, which may be drawn from Capitol security cameras and other sources, will shed light on the rioters’ “extreme violence” from a new vantage point, aides to the House impeachment team said. It’s part of what Democrats maintain will be an overwhelming display of evidence that Trump directly fueled the deadly insurrection and committed “the most heinous constitutional crime possible.”
Politico is also reporting that the Managers intend to focus on Impeached Inciter’s behavior in the weeks prior to January 6th, 2021.
Yamiche Alcindor from PBS NewsHour is reporting similar via tweet.
Recap of Day 1.
On Tuesday Day 1 of the Senate Impeachment Trial found the House Managers, well-prepared, while the Defense struggled to pick a lane.
To open the trial the House Impeachment Managers presented a 13 minute video montage of the events as they unfolded on January 6th, 2021.

Some highlights from House Impeachment Managers.
Raskin: “Trump may not know a lot about the framers, but they certainly knew a lot about him. Given the framers’ intense focus on danger to elections & peaceful transfer of power, it’s inconceivable they designed impeachment to be a dead letter in POTUS’s final days in office.” pic.twitter.com/LYxWL8rdt8

Neguse: “If Congress were just to stand completely aside in the face of such an extraordinary crime against the republic, it would invite future presidents to use their power without any fear of accountability.” pic.twitter.com/Hg5eizXIx9

Rep. Cicilline displays Trump’s January 6 tweet excusing the insurrection, says that given it and other incriminating statements, “it’s no wonder that President Trump would rather talk about jurisdiction.” pic.twitter.com/tNa2uANI1w

At the conclusion of the House Impeachment Managers arguing that yes, President Double Impeached should stand trial following his second Impeachment in the House while President, his defense team was up.
First was Bruce Castor, who seemed to be arguing that instead of Impeachment and Conviction as a punishment to the now private citizen Trump he should be arrested in connection to the Capitol attack on the 6th of January.

Just prior to making his case that instead of a political trial a criminal one would be better, he praised the House Impeachment Managers saying he and his team changed what they were going to do, based on how well they did.
“I’ll be quite frank with you, we changed what we were going to do on account that we thought the House managers’ presentation was well done” — Bruce Castor pic.twitter.com/aAbkxdCZhk

If you thought the second guy was better… he wasn’t.
“They want to put you through a 16 hour presentation, over two days, focusing on this as if it were some side of blood sport … this is a process fueled irresponsibly by base hatred” — David Schoen is angry pic.twitter.com/ZfGps6bIUz

After the Defense team closed out their changed planned attack the Senate voted 56 to 44 to allow the trial to proceed.
And just in case you thought maybe I was overstating how bad his defense lawyers were…
And as suspected Impeached Baby reportedly threw a fit while watching the coverage live.
In fairness, he probably threw a fit, because along with the suckage of his defense, his defense attorney said that American voters replaced Impeached 4 Life fair and square.
