Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–4/11/2021

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

The “Hell and Back” group had some unsuccessful attempts at finding an audience during February 2017. Although redacted, p(1)0001225 featured the photography of Isadora Kosofsky:

P(1)0005935 features an excerpt from the Journal of Gender Law and Policy Symposium on Intersectionality and the Black Lives Matter Movement:

P(1)0005937 didn’t try to have anything to do with prisons:

None of those ads received clicks.
