Propaganda Watch: Russian Social Media Ads–4/25/2021

This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

Yesterday I brought up the Blacktivist group. What were they up to four years ago during March of 2017? The same as they ever were. In p(1)0002976 they discussed Tupac Shakur and Kidada Jones as beauty and relationship goals:

The Blacktivist group did have the two post that mentioned current-ish politicians. P(1)0006500 admired that Barak Obama could wear both a t-shirt and a tuxedo:

P(1)0006538 announces that Michelle Obama wrote a college recommendation for a TV star:
