This is part of an ongoing series where I review some of the ads purchased by the Russians. In doing so I hope we can get a better understanding of what they were trying to do, and how to recognize it the next time we’re faced with propaganda.

The February 2017 ads had an interest in Standing Rock and the Dakota Access Pipeline. P(1)0005899 had a straightforward image about standing with Standing Rock:
P(1)0005901 had a more human image:
P(1)0005903 brings up the possibility of Native American tribes putting energy plants on their land, under their ownership:
