TNB Night Owl – Easy Listening

YT Channel Soothing Relaxation screen capture

Sometimes I am troubled by bouts of insomnia. For whatever reason, my brain will just not turn off. I am of a type that I can lay in the dark and my eyes will just not shut. I’ve learned to train myself over the years with triggers, but I am constantly having to alter my mechanisms. Usually, 10 minutes of reading a book puts me out, which can make for a long drawn out reading. But that can backfire if I get too rapped up in the plot and can’t turn that off.

Sometimes I will turn to easy listen relaxation music. It’s one I picked up from my grandkids their dad passed on when they used to stay over. Something he’s done with them since babies. Now days he turns on the projector and lets the underwater sea or the galaxy float around the room and turns the sound down real low and those rascals are out in 10.

So, if you’re feeling wound up and can’t turn your brain off, maybe give it a try. YouTube is a good source for such relaxation techniques. Here are a few you might enjoy.

Remember, a good key is to turn the sound down low.

Soothing Relaxation’s channel has a live stream of piano music. Their website also offers you their playlists for download purchase as well.
