The Australians have a talent for slang, to the point that many Aussie words and phrases are familiar to people all around the world, such as ‘no worries mate’, ‘walkabout’, ‘outback’, ‘barbie’, and many more. So here’s a new one (to me, at any rate): ‘froth’.
Froth apparently means something like, ‘to get so excited and worked up about something, you froth at the mouth’. (It may help to know that some dogs froth at the mouth when it’s time to eat.)
A teacher from Down Under, who goes by the TikTok handle of @mjj.1992, created several videos he calls “Things I Teach Children I Think Adults Would Froth”. His enthusiasm for the subjects he teaches is infectious and admirable.
