The news these days is often depressing at worst and frustrating at best. It’s easy to let it get us down. Never fear… The News Blender has you covered. Once a week we feature Something Good and, in return, all you have to do is tell us something good that has happened to you this week, something you are thankful for, a joke, a cute animal story, an inspiring tale of heroics, a Random Act of Kindness… SOMETHING good.
Today’s Something Good is personal. My son and his wife were visiting this week. We enjoyed every minute of their visit, perhaps especially so because they brought their pup with them.
His wedding gift to his bride was a puppy. Or the promise of one, anyway.
She had her heart set on a corgi so after they returned from the honeymoon, they started looking for a corgi puppy. They got Milo when he was a couple months old but then covid hit a few months later and we haven’t had the opportunity to meet him until now.
Obviously he is adorable and so daggone smart and we loved him right away. Missy was less sure because she’s terrified of any dog she meets. But after a bit, she got used to him and was brave enough to run and play with him. She was sad to see her new buddy leave this morning.
It was a great visit and we’re missing him (and his humans) already so I’m going to regale you with a few photos of Milo.
