TNB Night Owl – An Eclectic Farewell To Summer

Summer officially came to an end last Wednesday, and it’s now autumn. Fall’s arrival always catches me by surprise, as it still feels like summer and probably will for a few more weeks. Although the weather is beautiful at this time of year, the change of seasons is welcome as the days and nights grow cooler. However, if you’re not quite ready to let go and you’re hanging on to an endless summer fiesta, this playlist is for you.

Many genres are represented here, so there’s probably something you’ll like. The main rule of thumb used in choosing tracks for this list (in addition to the usual requirement that they were popular tunes in their day) is that “summer” had to be part of the title, which meant many songs associated with the season had to be left out: this list is far from comprehensive. As always, feel free to post any tunes associated with summer that you would have liked to have heard – one last hurrah for Summer 2021.
