Good morning, TNBers. In case you missed it, the boss is globe trotting the great wide open for the week so, all you peeps, you are mine! mine, I say! For A Whole Week ……

Quick programing note for tomorrow. I have a 10 am appointment so, afternoon thread will most likely drop light, mainly with anything that doesn’t make today’s post time drop and whatever is available I can snatch up in the morning before I have to jet out. Assuming the Word Press gods are functioning properly, tomorrow’s Biden Bits should drop at 12:00 PM (EST) so don’t forget to switch over from Night Owl when it is time.

On a quick side note, ICYMI, please indulge me as I drop this here for your afternoon’s entertainment and enjoy with me the schadenfreude that continues to stack up with this boil on the butt of humanity menace to society.

All fun and games until Mr. Lawman comes calling, eh, Kolfage. Whose the “corrupt ass holes” now.

He better hope the judge signs off on this deal. “Under current sentencing guidelines, Kolfage could face a sentence of up to 46 years in prison for the charges.” The offer is 51 to 63 months.

Bannon, Trump, and the rest of their fellow traveler corrupt dirtbags, left this idiot holding the bag. Feels dumb yet, Kolfage? Don’t feel bad for him getting left holding it though, remember he has led his own life of a conman leaving grift in his wake. This is just the one that finally took him down. His mistake was probably thinking there was honor among thieves as he was choosing to climb into their bed.

Anyhoo, thank you for the indulging, very cathartic! You are an awesome captive audience! 😂

@POTUS tweeted an additional 6 times post- Friday Biden Bits post time.

He posted about, and the signing of, his “Strengthening the Nation’s Forests, Communities, and Local Economies” EO at Stewart Park, Seattle, Washington and discusses his “agenda to tackle the climate crisis, expand affordable clean energy, safeguard our nation’s forests, and bolster our resilience in the face of threats like wildfires.”

Over the weekend, @POTUS tweeted a total of 6 times, adding photos from his Washington trip along with a brief video with fire ecologist Dr. Susan Prichard.

To note one I thought was of particular significance is the administration’s acknowledgement of the Armenian genocide.

Statement by President Joe Biden on Armenian Remembrance Day
APRIL 24, 2022
STATEMENTS AND RELEASES

On April 24, 1915, Ottoman authorities arrested Armenian intellectuals and community leaders in Constantinople. Thus began the Armenian genocide—one of the worst mass atrocities of the 20th century. Today, we remember the one and a half million Armenians who were deported, massacred, or marched to their deaths in a campaign of extermination, and mourn the tragic loss of so many lives.

As we reflect on the Armenian genocide, we renew our pledge to remain vigilant against the corrosive influence of hate in all its forms. We recommit ourselves to speaking out and stopping atrocities that leave lasting scars on the world. And, as we mourn what was lost during the Meds Yeghern, let us redouble our efforts toward healing and building the better, more peaceful world that we wish for our children. A world where human rights are respected, where the evils of bigotry and intolerance do not mark our daily lives, and where people everywhere are free to pursue their lives in dignity and security.

This is also a moment to reflect on the strength and resiliency of the Armenian people. After enduring a genocide, the Armenian people were determined to rebuild their community and their culture, so often in new homes and new lands, including the United States. Armenian Americans are a vital part of the fabric of the United States. They make our nation stronger and more dynamic, even as they continue to carry with them the tragic knowledge of what their ancestors endured. We recognize their pain and honor their story.

Today, 107 years later, the American people continue to honor all Armenians who perished in the genocide.
