TNB Night Owl – Donovan

A guitar played by Buffalo Springfield. Image captured by the News Blender.

Donovan blended folk music with psychedelic rock for a sound that is quintessential hippie sixties. Like Nilsson, Donovan was friends with The Beatles and (if I recall correctly) went with them on their trip to India to seek enlightenment. Hey, it was the sixties, man.

Although he doesn’t get much airplay today, anyone who was around in the sixties will recall all of these once-popular tunes. Guaranteed to bring back memories.
